Providing services to Indigenous patients that honour their culture, beliefs and identities.

National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

September 30 is the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Taking time to learn the truths and remember throughout the year is an important part of moving towards reconciliation.

In 2025, Alberta's health agencies honoured the day with reflective sessions on September 24. Watch the recorded sessions on Together4Health.
